About The Position
We are seeking an Underwriter Associate to support commercial real estate title transactions by analyzing title searches, commitments, surveys, and legal descriptions to assess and mitigate risk. The ideal candidate will assist with issuing title commitments and proformas, identifying title defects, and developing solutions to facilitate timely closings, while working closely with Senior Underwriters, escrow officers, lenders, and clients throughout the deal process.
Requirements
- Experience in commercial real estate title transactions.
- Ability to analyze title searches, commitments, surveys, and legal descriptions.
- Skill in assessing and mitigating risk.
- Proficiency in issuing title commitments and proformas.
- Capability to identify title defects.
- Aptitude for developing solutions to facilitate timely closings.
- Strong collaboration skills with Senior Underwriters, escrow officers, lenders, and clients.
