About The Position
Southern Farm Bureau Casualty Insurance Company is seeking an Underwriter Assistant I - Flood. This role is part of a great team environment and offers a family-oriented work environment. The position is located in Ridgeland, MS.
Requirements
- Emphasis will be in one of two areas: Customer Service or Underwriting.
Responsibilities
- Underwriting new business, changes and cancellations.
- Provide rate quotes for Agents.
- Screen applications, cancellations, and change requests.
- Request additional information as needed.
- Review and verify refunds and underpayments for accuracy.
- Provide quotes for Agents.
- Receive calls from Agents, mortgagers, and insureds.
- Perform additional duties as required or requested by the Supervisor or Lead.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Regular and predictable attendance is required.
