About The Position

EDAG is seeking an Underhood Trim Design & Release Engineer to develop and release underhood trim components, including leaf screens, cowl screens, and related parts. The role matures component concepts into production-intent designs and released product definitions, including packaging, interfaces, attachment strategies, materials, and performance requirements. The engineer leads supplier and tooling kick-off activities, reviews tooling progress and trials, coordinates testing and validation, and maintains DFMEAs while ensuring risks are mitigated. The role also resolves component issues and supports prototype and production builds, engineering changes, manufacturing readiness, and launch. The position is a six-month contract located in Dearborn, Michigan, or Long Beach, California.
