About The Position

B.H. Inc. (BHI) is hiring a full-time Underground Telecommunications Foreman to lead our Wireless & Communications crews. This role involves overseeing daily field operations for fiber optic cable installation, trenching, conduit placement, and utility work. The foreman will direct crew members, assign daily tasks, manage equipment and materials, and enforce OSHA safety standards. Responsibilities also include coordinating traffic control, road closures, and collaborating with project managers, utility companies, inspectors, and clients. The role requires tracking daily production hours, maintaining accurate job reports, troubleshooting construction challenges, and ensuring projects remain on schedule and under budget. The position involves heavy travel across Utah and surrounding states, with a traveling schedule based on project demands (e.g., M–F or 2–3 week travel rotations).

Requirements

3+ years of experience in underground construction activities (fiber optic, conduit placement, trenching, or utility installation).
Ability to supervise crews.
Ability to manage jobsite safety.
Ability to solve field issues proactively.
Willingness to undertake heavy travel across Utah and surrounding states.
Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States; visa sponsorship is not provided.
