About The Position

Metro RF Services Inc. is actively hiring Underground Telecom Construction Laborers to support expanding fiber optic and utility infrastructure projects throughout Southern California. They offer steady work, immediate openings, and opportunities to grow into higher-paying roles quickly.

Requirements

• Construction labor experience required
• Ability to handle physical work (lifting 50+ lbs, digging, long hours)
• Reliable, on-time, and ready to work
• Valid driver’s license preferred
• Must pass background check and drug screening
• Must be able to work overtime and weekends as needed
• Must be willing to travel locally between job sites

Nice To Haves

• Experience with underground utilities, trenching, or conduit
• Previous fiber optic / telecom construction experience
• Equipment experience (mini-ex, skid steer, etc.)
• Trench safety / shoring knowledge
• Right of Way experience
• CDL license

Responsibilities

• Assist with underground fiber optic and conduit installation
• Perform trenching, digging, backfilling, and jobsite prep
• Support placement of HDPE, conduit, handholes, and vaults
• Load/unload materials and maintain tools/equipment
• Work alongside operators, drill crews, and foremen
• Follow all OSHA and jobsite safety requirements
• Work outdoors in all conditions on active construction sites
