About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Underground Project Engineer to support the planning, execution, and delivery of underground capital infrastructure projects for an Underground Mining Project located in the interior of British Columbia. This site-based position operates on a fly-in/fly-out (FIFO) rotational schedule, with full camp accommodations provided while on site. Work schedules will be aligned with project and operational requirements. The successful candidate must be flexible and adaptable to varying rotation lengths, including extended site rotations as required to support project milestones and construction activities. The Underground Project Engineer will support Project Managers in the planning and execution of underground infrastructure projects through design coordination, contractor management, procurement support, construction oversight, project controls, and commissioning activities. The role will work closely with operations, technical services, contractors, and consultants to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in accordance with approved scope, schedule, budget, and quality objectives. Projects may include underground development, ventilation systems, pumping and dewatering infrastructure, electrical distribution, mine services, underground facilities, and other sustaining or growth capital projects.
