Reporting to the Mine Captain, the Mine Supervisor is responsible to provide complex technical support to mine / underground operations. To follow established policies, practices, and procedures when completing work assignments. To provide work direction to mine / underground operations staff. To ensure continued growth of the team. To maximize operational efficiencies and profitability and to be a leader in Health, Safety and Environment. The underground Mine Supervisor role consist of the following areas of responsibility: Development – which includes jumbo driller, face loader, bolter, service crew, scoop operator and material handler. Production – which includes production driller, production support miner, long hole blaster, cable bolter. May also include pump person and construction. Haulage – which includes truck operators, remote scoop operators, material handlers, road crew. May also include construction and sumps.
