About The Position

KDM Constructors is a construction and maintenance company created in partnership with three Saskatchewan First Nation Communities. This position reports to the Site Supervisor and is responsible for performing general laboring tasks. As an Underground Janitorial labourer, you will also be required to follow all policies and procedures in a safe and appropriate manner. This position is a day shift role consisting of 40 hours per week. The schedule includes two 10-hour shifts at the Nutrien Cory Site (Monday and Wednesday) and two 10-hour shifts at the Nutrien Allan site (Tuesday and Friday). Candidates must also be willing to work overtime as required. This position will be located at Nutrien Cory and Allan Divisions.

Requirements

• Knowledge of basic equipment
• High School Diploma
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
• Effective self-managing, good problem-solving skills, planning, organizing and priority setting skills combined with a strong work ethic
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Must be open and flexible to change and take initiative
• Pre-employment medical exam and drug test will be required

Responsibilities

• Adhere to workplace safety policies, regulations and compliances.
• Cutting grass and weed and vegetation management.
• Maintain a clean and orderly job site.
• Load and unload supplies and equipment.
• Provide deliveries as requested.
• Escort deliveries in and out of site safely and monitor drivers.
• Spotting people and equipment during miscellaneous activities.
• Issue parts, materials, PPE from the warehouse and document.
• Fueling equipment.
• Any other such duties as may be determined by your reporting manager.
