About The Position

Nevada Gold Mines is seeking an Underground Fixed Maintenance Technician for its Goldrush underground operations. The technician performs preventive maintenance and repairs on surface and underground fixed mining equipment, including crushers, conveyors, concrete mixing systems, and pumps. The role reports to the Underground Fixed Maintenance Supervisor and is part of a diverse, collaborative mining team focused on safety and responsible operations.

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of conveyor systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot and complete repairs on pumps.
• Basic fabrication skills, including welding and cutting, brazing, arc welding, and air arc.
• Excellent safety and attendance record.
• Demonstrated ability to perform the essential functions of the job.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to identify parts needed for repairs by make, model, size, and type.
• Basic knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics and the ability to apply those skills to troubleshoot and repair systems.
• Ability to read and use precision measuring tools, torque wrenches, and hand tools.
