About The Position

This is a student position for the Department of Geography, Geology, and the Environment, located in Felmley Hall. As an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities may include but are not limited to attending each lecture, taking attendance, maintaining student records, being familiar with the class material, holding office hours and student review sessions, teaching small groups or individuals who need additional help or guidance, proctoring exams, grading tests, papers, and assignments, recording and maintaining grades, lecturing or making presentations, leading class discussions or break-out groups, and supervising group activities. Students currently taking the class are not eligible for this position.

  • Must be able to complete the following with or without a reasonable accommodation: Effectively communicate on a daily basis.
