About The Position

This is a part-time, non-benefited position for University of North Dakota (UND) students. The role involves working in Upson I 105b on campus, utilizing acoustic levitation to produce atmospheric ice crystals. The assistant will improve existing instruments to release ice crystals into a shock tube for exploring aerodynamic conditions. The position reports to Dr. Chelmo, and requires adherence to lab safety rules and professional conduct.

Requirements

  • Satisfactory completion of ME 306, ME 341, and ME 474.
  • Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check.
  • Verification of identity and eligibility to work in the US.
  • Completion of the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.
