About The Position
Seeking Undergraduate Research Assistant. Incumbent will undertake tasks related to soil sample preparation, basic chemical, physical and biological analyses (e.g. pH, texture, soil fractionation), cleaning lab ware and soil sampling equipment, and assist in field work as needed. Tasks will be in support of ongoing research projects within the Soil and Environmental Mineralogy Lab.
Requirements
- Must be enrolled as an undergraduate student
- On the job training will be given for all tasks, no previous work experience or coursework required.
Nice To Haves
- Previous coursework, lab, or field experiences in soil science, environmental science and natural resources desirable.
