About The Position
The Acevedo Lab is seeking a motivated undergraduate student for a part-time research assistant position. The role involves conducting research experiments focused on insect pests of grapes and their natural enemies. The successful candidate will also assist with various laboratory activities under the supervision of the Principal Investigator (PI).
Requirements
- Must be a motivated undergraduate student.
- Must be punctual, organized, dependable, honest, and an excellent team member.
- Ability to work 5-20 hours per week.
Nice To Haves
- Previous research experience is not required.
Responsibilities
- Conduct research experiments with insect pests of grape and their natural enemies.
- Help with miscellaneous lab activities under the supervision of the lab’s PI.
Benefits
- Compensation starts at $17 per hour.
