About The Position

This is a part-time, non-benefited position for an Undergraduate Research Assistant under Dr. Klemetsrud. The position is classified as Non-Exempt, meaning it is eligible for overtime. The role requires 5-10 hours of work per week and is 100% remote, with no hybrid or on-campus work availability. Only UND students are eligible to be hired for this position. The primary duties involve conducting literature reviews on small-scale renewable energy systems within Indigenous communities, performing mass and energy balances of renewable energy systems, and researching the energy mixtures and needs of North Dakota Tribal Nations.

Requirements

• Chemical Engineering Undergraduate
• On Campus Student
• Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
• Must verify identity and eligibility to work in the US and complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.
• Must be currently enrolled as a UND student.

Responsibilities
