About The Position
This position is available only to enrolled American University students. The Research Assistant will assist in the research and preparation of a policy report. The RA will work independently to identify areas in which AI circumvents existing regulation and review the relevant regulatory issues. The RA will create a spreadsheet codifying the regulatory aspects of AI. The RA will provide additional research support as needed, including reading and summarizing papers, formatting documents, and other similar tasks.
Requirements
- Must be an enrolled American University student.
- Ability to work independently to identify areas where AI circumvents existing regulation.
- Ability to review relevant regulatory issues.
- Ability to create spreadsheets.
- Ability to provide research support, read and summarize papers, and format documents.
