About The Position
The School of Business and Enterprise seeks a motivated undergraduate student to serve as a Research Assistant supporting faculty research initiatives. This position offers valuable hands-on experience in business research methodologies, data analysis, and academic scholarship while contributing to cutting-edge research in business.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled full time in an undergraduate program
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Basic knowledge of statistical software (SPSS, R, Stata, or similar)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Time management skills and ability to meet deadlines

Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive literature reviews across business and enterprise topics
- Identify, evaluate, and synthesize relevant academic sources and industry publications
- Maintain organized repository of research materials and citations
- Stay current with emerging trends and developments in assigned research areas
- Perform statistical analysis using software packages such as SPSS, R, Stata, or Excel
- Clean, organize, and prepare datasets for analysis
- Conduct descriptive and inferential statistical analyses
- Create data visualizations, charts, and graphs to present findings
- Validate data accuracy and identify potential analytical issues
- Assist faculty with ongoing research projects and grant-funded studies
- Collect primary and secondary data from various sources
- Prepare research summaries, reports, and presentations
- Support manuscript preparation for academic journals and conferences
