Join the rapidly growing College of Design and play a key role in shaping the next generation of designers as an Undergraduate Recruiter II (Student Recruiter II) in the Office of Marketing and Enrollment Strategy. In this dynamic position, you'll represent the college across Iowa, the nation, and potentially internationally, promoting undergraduate programs and guiding prospective first-year and transfer students through the admissions process. The Undergraduate Recruiter II is responsible for advancing undergraduate enrollment goals through strategic recruitment efforts, effective verbal and written communication, student team leadership, scholarship administration, event planning and execution, and project management. This role also involves tracking recruitment outcomes, analyzing effectiveness, and using data to inform future strategies. As the college's primary point of contact for prospective student inquiries and the Office of Admissions, you'll collaborate closely with admissions staff, campus partners, faculty, staff, and current students to support a seamless recruitment experience. In addition, this position coordinates the College of Design's annual week-long summer camp for high school students, overseeing all aspects of planning and logistics—from facility reservations to ensuring compliance with Office of Risk Management requirements. The ideal candidate is an enthusiastic communicator who is comfortable with public speaking, enjoys building relationships, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. This role requires occasional lifting of up to 20 pounds and flexibility to work some evenings and weekends while traveling or representing the College of Design at recruitment events.
