About The Position

This 10-week Summer Internship Program provides real-world experience through meaningful project work, professional development opportunities, networking events, and exposure to leaders across the organization. Interns are empowered to take ownership of projects, develop professional and leadership skills, and build valuable relationships that support future career growth. The People & Culture (P&C) organization at PMI U.S. partners with leaders across the organization to attract, develop, engage, and retain top talent while supporting initiatives that help employees grow and succeed. The P&C team plays a critical role in helping build a workplace where people can thrive and contribute to PMI U.S.'s mission through innovative programs, data-driven decision-making, and a commitment to continuous improvement. As an intern, you'll gain exposure to a variety of HR disciplines and work on projects that directly contribute to improving processes, enhancing the employee experience, and supporting organizational goals.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a full-time bachelor's degree program.
• Expected graduation between December 2027 and June 2028.
• Pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Communications, Organizational Development, or a related field preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively within a team setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Teams.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-service mindset.
• Interest in Human Resources, employee experience, talent acquisition, or people operations.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Support the P&C Operations team with day-to-day activities, including data entry, document management, and process coordination.
• Assist with maintaining accurate employee records and information within HR systems and databases.
• Help prepare reports, dashboards, data pulls, and presentations to support business and HR initiatives.
• Participate in process improvement projects focused on increasing efficiency and enhancing the employee experience.
• Collaborate with HR partners on projects related to onboarding, compliance, employee lifecycle changes, talent processes, and policy updates.
• Conduct research on HR trends, best practices, and organizational initiatives.
• Assist in documenting and maintaining standard operating procedures (SOPs) and process documentation.
• Provide administrative support for audits, file maintenance, reporting requests, ticket management, and special projects.
• Support employee communications, engagement activities, and other cross-functional initiatives as needed.
• Present project outcomes, insights, and recommendations to leaders at the conclusion of the internship.
