Student workers in the Office of Undergraduate Admissions act as liaisons between the university and prospective students, marketing the value of the Gannon experience. This interaction can take place in a variety of ways: campus tours and in-person conversations, social media photos and videos, text chats, phone calls, and video Q&A sessions. The student workers in Undergraduate Admissions proactively recruit Gannon’s future students and are a critical piece to the success of the university. Holding one of these positions should be considered an honor and a responsibility. Amongst many career readiness skills, you will focus on communication and professionalism. While interacting with families you must clearly and effectively exchange Gannon’s information, ideas, facts, and perspectives. By doing this in a professional manner you will understand and demonstrate effective work habits, and act in the interest of the Gannon community by being present and prepared, demonstrating dependability, and maintaining a positive personal brand.
