The Admission Counselor is responsible for outreach activities within assigned geographic territories, including maintenance and follow-up with inquiring prospective students, parents, and school counselors. The Admission Counselor will represent the University by participating in college fairs and coordinating school visits. After appropriate training, the Admission Counselor will compile and analyze data for planning, implementation, and evaluation of outreach activities. The Admission Counselor will manage file reading caseload for assigned territories, participate on the University Admission Committee including presentations of assigned applicants, assist with day-to-day operations including making presentations to visiting groups, participate in transfer advising appointments, and manage special projects as assigned. The Admission Counselor travel schedule is four to six weeks annually. Perform other duties as assigned.
