About The Position

Amgen’s Operations organization manufactures and delivers therapeutics to patients. Process Development takes molecules from Research & Development and turns them into products that can be manufactured for therapeutic use. With support from the hiring manager, the intern will complete a project in Manufacturing and Clinical Supply. The intern will rigorously conduct and document experiments, analyze and interpret data into meaningful business-influencing outcomes, and communicate the process clearly and compellingly to the team. Interns can also participate in professional development through training sessions, an executive speaker series, lab and facilities tours, one-on-one mentoring, networking events, and Amgen-sponsored social events. An example of a previous project is standardizing tactical project management for commercial drug product technology transfers. The program requires the intern to be located in the United States for its duration, work a full-time schedule, and be available to accept and commit to future full-time employment by July 2028 if offered. Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. for the duration of the program; sponsorship for future full-time roles is not guaranteed.
