About The Position
As an Undercoat Technician with Steele St. John's Chrysler, you will be responsible for applying protective coatings to the underside of vehicles to prevent corrosion and damage from road debris, salt, moisture, and other environmental hazards. Additionally, you will inspect vehicles for existing damage or corrosion before applying the undercoating and may recommend repairs as needed. Please note that this role is not eligible for participation in the Atlantic Immigration Program (AIP) due to the specific National Occupational Classifications (NOC) requirements.
Requirements
- Experience in cleaning interior and exterior of motor vehicles and great attention to detail.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Valid driver’s license, clean driver’s abstract.
- Self-motivated and have excellent time management skills.
Responsibilities
- Apply protective coatings to the underside of vehicles.
- Prevent corrosion and damage from road debris, salt, moisture, etc.
- Utilize specialized equipment for undercoating application.
- Follow specific procedures to ensure thorough coverage.
- Assist in washing vehicles, as required
