About The Position

CPI Security is seeking an Unarmed Security Patrol Driver for both Part-Time and Full Time positions. The hours for this role are 9pm-5am (Graveyard Shift). The Patrol Officer will pick up a company vehicle in Monroe and drive a route to multiple client sites. While security experience is preferred, the company will provide training for individuals without prior experience. The primary responsibility is to complete all patrol stop tasks using designated apps within scheduled guidelines. A Washington State Security Guard License is required, and the company will assist in obtaining it as needed. The role demands flexibility for repeated entry/exit of vehicles, climbing stairs, walking, sitting, or standing for extended periods, and proficiency with smartphone applications. The job requires critical thinking skills to quickly assess situations and respond appropriately. Formal reports of each patrol and any identified issues must be submitted via an app. Duties include conducting security checks, inspecting building entrances and exits, patrolling, inspecting, and securing access areas into and onto client premises, and to sensitive locations within buildings. The role also involves locking and unlocking areas according to a schedule. Specific duties include the ability to establish priorities and articulate events through pictures and written words using an app. All other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Must have or be able to obtain a Washington State Security Guard License.
  • Good knowledge of smartphone apps.
  • Critical thinking skills, with the ability to quickly observe a situation and make the appropriate response.
  • Must consent to drug screening and a stringent background check (WSP, WASIC, NCIC, DMDC verification of military service).
  • Must begin testing and training for a minimum of eight hours prior to their first on-site assignment or post-training session upon acceptance.
