About The Position

Patrol Solutions has been providing services to Residential and Commercial property management companies in Northern California since 2010. We combine experienced officers with the latest patrol technology to remain at the forefront of the high-end patrol market. This specific position is located in the Tenderloin of San Francisco, CA. We are looking for a Security Professional to protect our organization's facilities by patrolling and detecting unauthorized activities, ensuring the safety of employees and visitors. This role requires a high attention to detail, the ability to respond to emergency situations, and maintain awareness of the environment to prevent theft, damage, or injury.

Requirements

Must possess a current BSIS Guard Card.
Access control experience
Must be able to walk or stand for extended periods of time
Ability to read, write and understand and carry out written orders, policies, procedures, and instructions.
Ability to write and understand English
Demonstrate a positive attitude, outstanding customer service skills, and take the initiative in completing assigned tasks.
Willing to accept shift work, weekends, holidays, and overtime if needed.
Reliable transportation
Friendly and professional demeanor
Able to pass a drug test and background check
Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Must have reliable transportation to and from San Francisco, CA.
Must have weekend availability.
Must be comfortable working with LGBTQ individuals, the homeless community, and people experiencing substance use challenges.
Candidates should be empathetic, customer-oriented, and able to engage respectfully with queer, trans, and non-binary individuals.
Basic computer and smartphone proficiency required
Possess and maintain a valid State Guard Registration (guard card)
Must be in good physical shape since you will spend a lot of time on your feet, walking around, observing, and assessing situations.
High attention to detail is required.

Responsibilities

Conduct foot patrols alone.
Patrol and maintain general security of assigned property as described in Post Orders / SOP.
Utilize a smartphone or similar device to maintain a Daily Activity Report, and create Incident and Facility Maintenance Reports.
Maintain consistent performance, attendance, uniform appearance, and professional grooming.
Maintain professional communications with clients, colleagues, and the public.
Respond to emergency calls, including medical, fire, and damage to property.
Protect our organization’s facilities.
Patrol our facilities and detect unauthorized activities.
Maintain an awareness of the environment and ensure the safety of employees and visitors.
Respond to emergency situations and emergency calls.
Prevent theft, damage, or injury in our organization.
