About The Position

Coastal Security Services, Inc. (CSSI) is hiring Unarmed Security Officers for client sites in the Savannah, Pooler, and Rincon, GA area, Sumter, SC, and Jacksonville, FL. Posts include gated residential communities, industrial campuses, hotel and commercial properties, and federal facilities. This is a standing posting, meaning CSSI hires continuously across their sites in this area. Applicants who clear screening are placed as soon as a post fits their license, location, and availability. Cleared candidates who are not placed immediately remain on file and are contacted first when the next post opens.

Requirements

• 18 years of age or older
• Currently licensed or ability to obtain the security registration for the state you will work
• Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening
• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Able to stand, walk, and patrol for a full shift
• Clear verbal and written communication

Nice To Haves

• Prior security experience
• Current CPR/First Aid/AED certification
• Industrial, residential, or commercial security experience
• Prior military or law enforcement service

Responsibilities

• Control access at gates and entry points; verify credentials for employees, contractors, and visitors
• Conduct foot and vehicle patrols of buildings, grounds, and parking areas
• Monitor CCTV and alarm systems and respond to incidents and alarms
• Maintain accurate visitor logs, daily activity reports, and incident reports
• Observe and report safety hazards, policy violations, and suspicious activity
• Serve as the professional first point of contact for everyone entering the property
