About The Position

Marksman Security is seeking an Unarmed Security Officer for a position in Hillsboro, OR. This role offers a pay rate of $21.00/hour and a sign-on bonus of $2,000 for those with a valid DPSST certification, or $500 for those without (DPSST license sponsorship is available). The bonus is payable after 90 days of employment with no active infractions or policy violations. Multiple shifts are available, and weekend availability is required. Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
Valid OR State Security License
Valid Driver's License
Proficient in navigating computer programs and software with efficiency.
Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
Able to read, write, speak, and understand English
Able to meet physical essential functions of the job, which can include lifting 50+ lbs, completing foot patrols, walking up and down stairs, working in inclement weather
Proficiency in Genetec, Camera systems, and CCTV technology is required.

Evening, overnight, and weekend availability required

Responsibilities

Provide excellent Customer Service to all parties encountered while on duty, including assisting with directions and general business information
Overseeing daily security operations to protect the valuable assets of our facility, employees, and guests around the clock.
Monitoring, directing, and responding to security and safety issues with efficiency and effectiveness.
This position includes regular foot patrols and physical activity, keeping you engaged and on the move.
