About The Position

Alutiiq Diversified Services, Inc. has an opportunity for a full-time Unarmed Security Officer supporting an Airbus Helicopter customer in Columbus, MS. This is a potential contract award position, contingent upon contract award. The role involves responding to calls and incidents, securing scenes, performing crowd control, and safeguarding assets. The officer will conduct personnel, vehicular, and building checks, administer First Aid and CPR, and complete electronic reports. Familiarity with security systems like CCTV, access control, and mobile security applications is required, along with maintaining uniform and grooming standards. Assistance with motorists and escorts may also be required.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
H.S. Diploma or equivalent.
Must be able to Multi-task.
Must be familiar with various Security systems such as: CCTV’s, access control, emergency notification systems, and mobile security applications.
Ability to work Overnight shift hours (10pm-6am) is required.
Successfully pass a criminal history background investigation.
Must Speak English fluently; read and comprehend written English.
Must be able to demonstrate excellent skill using G-Suites applications.
Must be capable of learning new computer programs and applications.
Must be able to successfully complete approximately 40 hrs. of company provided training.
Must be able to successfully complete a pre-employment physical exam and drug screen.
Must be able to successfully complete a pre-employment Physical Readiness Test.
Must be able to successfully complete and pass all company provided training; to include Expandable Baton, Defensive Tactics, CPR, First Aid and incident report writing.
Must be able to pass a background check.
Must be able to successfully pass the Afognak Diversified Services Inc Driver’s Safety Course.
Must have a clean Driving Record.
Current Operator’s permit. (Driver’s License).
Must be self-motivated and have the ability to work with little supervision.
Must be able to stand post for up to 4 hours without a break.
Must have good timekeeping skills.
Must have a High School diploma or equivalent.
Must be able to pass a background check.
Must maintain and complete all Afognak Diversified Services Inc training, practical or computer based.
