About The Position
Security Services Northwest, Inc. (SSNW) is a full-service security company founded in 1977, offering professional security services for residential, commercial, and industrial customers across multiple states. SSNW is a nationally recognized supplement for Department of Defense anti-terrorism force protection. They provide armed and unarmed security officers, patrol services, and security system installations. Requirements
- Current Washington State Unarmed Security Guard License
- Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Availability to work graveyards and weekends
- Must sign a Non-disclosure Agreement (NDA)
- Smart phone to access the apps we use for scheduling, clocking in/out, and reporting
- Reliable transportation
- Honesty and Integrity
- Able to work non-traditional hours including swings, graveyard, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to react appropriately in high stress situations
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Knowledge of security protocols, and equipment
- Must be able to conduct regular walking foot patrols
- Able to stand 8-12 hours a day
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times (occasionally)

Responsibilities
- Act as a visual deterrent to prevent theft, embezzlement, sabotage, fire, and accidents
- Conduct regular patrols
- Monitor activities
- Surveillance
- Access Control
- Safety escorts
- Using provided communication devices
- Represent SSNW’s brand
- Properly wear the issued uniform
- Complete Daily Activity Reports (DAR)
- Work with local law enforcement, and emergency services
- Provide friendly assistance to customers, employees and visitors following the department's procedures
- Other duties as described in the Post Orders
