About The Position

Doyle Security Services, Inc. (DSS) is seeking experienced Security Officers in the New York City area for Corporate Locations. This is a standing position, requiring the ability to stand for the majority of the workday. The Security Officer observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel. They make periodic tours to check for irregularities, preserve order, and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age
1-3 years Corporate/Commercial Security Experience
Valid NYS Security Guard License
Must be available to work weekends
Must have exceptional Customer Service Skills
Must be able to verbally de-escalate situations
Reliable transportation
Must be able to understand the English language and communicate it effectively in both the verbal and written form
Some positions may require a 7-year consistent work history

Nice To Haves

Security or related experience or customer service knowledge and college level education can be substituted for work experience.
