About The Position

Doyle Security Services is seeking an Unarmed Security Officer floater who can travel to numerous sites. There are no set shifts or schedule. The officer observes and reports activities and incidents at assigned client sites, helping protect client property and personnel. The role includes making periodic tours to check for irregularities, preserving order, and enforcing site regulations and directives pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises. The work requires standing for the majority of the workday.

Requirements

Valid Florida Class D Security Guard License.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Minimum high school diploma or GED.
Ability to understand and communicate effectively in English, verbally and in writing.
Must be physically able to perform the tasks required by the position.
Must be able to work flexible shifts, holidays, and weekends.
Customer service experience is required.

Responsibilities

Report irregularities and inform violators of policies and procedures.
Secure premises and personnel by patrolling property, monitoring surveillance equipment, inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points, and permitting entry.
Complete reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interview witnesses; and obtain signatures.
Perform tasks assigned by a supervisor or manager.
