Doyle Security Services (DSS) is currently looking for UNARMED SECURITY OFFICERS in Somerset, NJ. Officer must have transportation and be punctual. Locations & Shifts: Thursday and Friday 6AM to 5PM Pay Rate: $19.00 an hour You will also be eligible for excellent benefits including referral bonuses, a 401(k) plan, health insurance, dental, vision , and paid time off (PTO). A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A UNARMED SECURITY OFFICER As a Security Officer / Unarmed Guard, you are alert and observant in order to keep your assigned facility and its personnel safe. You secure your post by patrolling the property, monitoring surveillance, and inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points. To maintain safety, you also permit entry into the facility. You take your responsibility seriously, always showing up on time, staying alert throughout your shift, and keeping accurate records.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid New Jersey SORA License
• Must be physically able to perform the tasks required by the position
• Must be computer literate
• Great customer service skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Self-motivated and enthusiastic
• Responsible and hardworking
• Can exercise sound judgment and be flexible during tense situations
• Have transportation
• Be punctual
