Unarmed Security Officers near UT Campus
About The Position
Unarmed Security Officers are needed for full-time, 3rd shift openings starting on May 29th near the UT Campus. Security personnel regularly patrol scheduled security circuits where guards walk preplanned and random routes to check locks, investigate alarms, deter suspicious activity, and offer assistance to students, residents, and visitors. This post will require the officers to be outside in the elements and requires a high level of mobility as it is a walking patrol. Candidates must have the ability to write reports in a clear, concise, and accurate manner. Excellent customer service skills and professionalism are required as the officer will build a sense of trust and a safe community. Candidates must go through Walden training and acquire a security license upon start. Walden Security can assist with that process. The state will require a background check, fingerprints, a training class, and a licensing fee. Walden Security will make payroll deductions to cover the requirements of the state. Our Security Officers protect the Industrial or Commercial property of our clients against fire, vandalism, and illegal entry. Our clients range from Class-A Office Buildings, Luxury Residential Properties, Distilleries, Fortune 500 Companies, Financial Institutions, Telecommunications, Manufacturing/Industrial Factories, Hospitals, and many others.
Requirements
- High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- Minimum of 18 years of age
- Ability to pass criminal background check and drug test
- Ability to be outside in the elements
- High level of mobility for walking patrol
- Must go through Walden training and acquire a security license upon start
