About The Position
We are seeking a dependable and professional Unarmed Security Officer to provide security services at a high-traffic retail environment. The ideal candidate will maintain a visible presence, deter theft and disturbances, and assist customers and staff as needed while enforcing site policies.
Requirements
- Previous security experience preferred
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand and walk continuously for the duration of the shift
- Strong observation and situational awareness skills
- Ability to remain calm and professional in public-facing situations
- Must be able to pass a background check
- HS Diploma GED or H.S. Equivalent
- Driver's License
Responsibilities
- Maintain a visible security presence throughout the assigned location
- Conduct continuous walking and standing patrols
- Observe, report, and document suspicious activity or safety concerns
- Assist with loss prevention and incident response
- Provide professional customer service to the public
- Communicate clearly and effectively with staff and management
- Follow all company and client security policies and procedures
