About The Position

St. Moritz Security Services, Inc. is seeking an Unarmed Security Officer for their New Jersey Regional Office in Secaucus, NJ. This is a full-time, first-shift position with a schedule of Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, paying $19.00 per hour. The company has over 43 years of experience in the security industry and emphasizes the importance of its people in implementing successful security programs. The Security Officer is primarily responsible for observing and reporting activities at assigned locations, ensuring a high level of service.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Valid NJ security license/registration
1-3 years of professional experience preferred
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to write clear and concise reports
Professional demeanor and good judgment
Reliable transportation or access to public transportation
Must successfully complete required background screening and drug/alcohol testing, where applicable

Nice To Haves

Security, military, law enforcement, or customer service experience highly desired

Responsibilities

Monitoring and reporting all activity
Conducting foot patrols and/or vehicular patrols
Reporting suspicious activities and persons
Writing detailed narrative reports
Maintaining daily activity reports (DAR’s)
Enforcing post orders, site rules, regulations, and policies
Responding to emergency situations requiring security assistance
Identifying and reporting security threats, suspicious activity, unsafe conditions, and hazards
Providing customer service and support
Maintaining awareness of site-specific emergency procedures
Completing required training and following company procedures
Performing other security duties as assigned by a supervisor
