As an unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a government location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and report security-related concerns. Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

A guard card or license is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.
Experience using handcuffs, pepper spray, and/or a baton is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public at a government-related location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and vehicle activity in accordance with site procedures; report unusual conditions, policy violations, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and contacting emergency services and/or site representatives when needed.
Prepare clear, accurate reports and daily activity logs documenting patrols, incidents, observations, and actions taken.
