As a Security Officer Patrol Team Associate in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. Requirements

  • Tuberculosis test and MMR vaccinations are required.
  • Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
  • A minimum of 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
  • Must have clean background
  • Must have 1 year of security experience within the last 3 years with an active guard card
  • Must have a high school diploma, or GED or Official transcripts

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and/or public agencies as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and help to control entry and exit activity in accordance with site protocols, while documenting observations, incidents, and/or daily activities in required reports.
  • Support order at the location by following post instructions, assisting with directional questions, and reporting maintenance concerns, hazards, and/or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
