About The Position

Doyle Security Services (DSS) is seeking Unarmed Security Officers / Floaters to work in various locations across Queens, Brooklyn, and Nassau County. This is a per-diem position that requires flexibility to work weekdays and weekends, across all shifts (morning, evening, and overnight). The role involves securing premises and personnel through patrolling, monitoring surveillance equipment, inspecting access points, and controlling entry. Officers will be responsible for reporting any irregularities, informing violators of policies, and completing detailed reports of observations and activities. Additional tasks may be assigned by supervisors or managers.

Requirements

• Valid NYS Security Guard License
• Valid Driver's License
• Reliable transportation
• High School Diploma / GED required
• Must be able to understand the English language and communicate effectively in both the verbal and written form
• Must be physically able to perform the tasks required by the position

Nice To Haves

• 5-7 Year U.S. work history may be required
• Military experience a plus

Responsibilities

• Securing premises and personnel by patrolling property
