About The Position

Marksman Security is seeking to hire Unarmed PGR Retail Security Officers for full-time and part-time openings on the 2nd shift. This role is essential for maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for retail partners and their customers. Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
High school degree or equivalent.
Valid Texas state driver’s license.
Valid Texas Guard License.
Professional demeanor and appearance.
Basic computer skills.
Must be able to multitask and prioritize assigned tasks.
Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
Minimum of one year of customer service experience.
Minimum of one year of security experience.
Must be able to pass pre-employment screening (background and drug).
Computer skills required.
Weekend Availability.
Current valid Wisconsin security license.
Able to conduct extended foot patrols.
Must have a current WI driver's license and clean driving record.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience as a security officer, security guard, and/or other safety and protection related fields, including customer service roles.

Responsibilities

Conduct vehicle and foot patrols of areas in the public right of way to identify potential safety and security risks.
Engage with the public and respond to any and all calls for service in the public right of way.
Maintain a visible presence and engage in professional public interactions.
Document all interactions in a clear and concise written report, ensuring the accuracy and timely submission of required documentation.
Communicate and pass on all pertinent information to fellow team members, other safety teams, and the client.
Monitor and/or detect any suspicious behavior to assist in the prevention of vandalism, theft and or other criminal behavior.
Warn violators of infractions e.g., loitering, smoking and or in possession of prohibited items.
Respond to calls of distress, alarms and/or emergencies such as fire, injuries or presence of unauthorized individuals by contacting local first responders.
Identify and report any and all concerns (safety, security breaches, unusual circumstances) in a timely manner.
Ensure all rules/regulations are being enforced and followed.
