We are seeking an experienced and highly professional Unarmed Security Officer to provide security services at a high-end luxury retail location in Downtown Chicago. This position is ideal for a security professional who understands the unique expectations of luxury retail and can maintain a polished, discreet, and customer-focused presence while protecting the property, merchandise, employees, and customers. The highest standards of professionalism, appearance, communication, and customer service are expected at all times.

Requirements

Active Illinois PERC Card in good standing required
20-Hour Security Training Certificate required
Previous luxury or high-end retail security experience required
Exceptional professional appearance and demeanor
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong situational awareness and attention to detail
Ability to interact professionally with high-end clientele, employees, and management
Ability to maintain discretion and professionalism in a luxury retail environment
GED or H.S. Equivalent
HS Diploma
IL PERC Card
20-hour IL security training certificate

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience strongly preferred

Responsibilities

Maintain a professional, visible, and discreet security presence
Protect the property, merchandise, employees, and customers
Monitor the retail environment and identify potential security or safety concerns
Observe and report suspicious activity, incidents, and policy violations
Respond appropriately to security and emergency situations
Provide professional and courteous assistance to customers and employees
Follow all client and company security procedures and post orders
Maintain awareness of customer and employee activity while providing exceptional service
Complete accurate daily activity and incident reports
Maintain confidentiality and discretion when handling security-related matters
