Hammer Head Security is a family-owned and military-friendly security services firm based out of Stockton, CA, providing armed, unarmed, patrol, personal protection, and event security services throughout the Central Valley, Sacramento Region, and Bay Area. Our team has successfully provided services for events like Super Bowl 50, pioneered security practices in the Cannabis Industry, and implemented COVID-19 health and safety protocols for food supply chains. We are seeking dependable and professional Security Officers to provide security services at both a residential apartment community and a commercial warehouse/logistics facility. This position requires a strong security presence through patrols, access control, customer service, incident reporting, and safety monitoring. The ideal candidate is observant, detail-oriented, and able to work independently while maintaining excellent communication with residents, employees, visitors, Dispatch, and management.

Requirements

Previous security, residential, warehouse, gatehouse, or logistics experience preferred.
Strong observation, communication, and report-writing skills.
Reliable, punctual, and professional.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to walk and stand for extended periods.
Basic computer, smartphone, radio, and reporting application skills.
Ability to remain calm and professional during emergencies and stressful situations.
Valid security license or certification as required by state regulations.

Responsibilities

Conduct scheduled foot patrols of residential buildings, parking garages, stairwells, amenities, and common areas.
Complete required QR checkpoint scans according to patrol schedules.
Monitor pool, gym, sauna, and other resident amenities to ensure compliance with community policies.
Verify resident access to amenities and report unauthorized use.
Lock and secure designated amenities at closing times.
Respond professionally to resident complaints regarding noise, suspicious activity, and property concerns.
Document all incidents, complaints, observations, and patrol activities in Daily Activity Reports (DARs) and Incident Reports (IRs).
Monitor for unauthorized access, vandalism, theft, safety hazards, and suspicious activity.
Communicate with Dispatch and property management regarding incidents and site concerns.
Observe and report all violations while maintaining a professional and non-confrontational approach.
Monitor entry and exit gates and verify employee, visitor, and contractor access credentials.
Maintain accurate access control logs and visitor documentation.
Verify inbound and outbound shipping documentation, container numbers, trailer numbers, and seal numbers.
Perform regular foot patrols of warehouse facilities, yard areas, fence lines, trailers, and restricted areas.
Conduct trailer inventory checks and reefer temperature monitoring.
Inspect for theft, vandalism, trespassing, safety hazards, and suspicious activity.
Take photographs of hazards, damages, or discrepancies and document findings.
Maintain communication with Dispatch, client representatives, and management regarding site activity.
Assist with driver check-in procedures and after-hours delivery verification.
Complete Daily Activity Reports (DARs), Incident Reports (IRs), and required operational logs.
Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
Provide excellent customer service to residents, employees, visitors, and clients.
Respond appropriately to emergencies and contact emergency services when necessary.
Accurately document incidents, observations, and daily activities.
Follow all company, client, and site-specific policies and procedures.
