About The Position

This role involves investigating automobile accidents with property damage and/or bodily injury where attorneys and litigation are involved. The position is remote, allowing for work from home. Key responsibilities include assessing coverage, liability, and damages, while providing excellent customer service. Communication with customers and attorneys will occur via phone, email, and text. The role also involves negotiation to reach fair injury settlements using innovative platforms and tools. This specific role supports Illinois, Wisconsin, and Minnesota and requires the ability to work in the Central Time Zone.

Requirements

Must be able to work in Central Time Zone.
A home office – a dedicated workspace in your residence that is private and free from distractions.
A minimum internet bandwidth of 50 MB down/5 MB up.
Appropriate work surface and seating.
Proficient communication skills, especially over the phone, to establish rapport and assess claims accurately.
Ability to work independently and remotely, while managing time efficiently.
Familiarity with insurance policies, coverage, and liability determination.
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to evaluate and negotiate injury claims successfully.
Knowledge of innovative tools and platforms for effective claims evaluation.

Nice To Haves

2+ years’ experience in bodily injury claim evaluations and negotiation.
2+ years Claims Adjusting experience.
IL, WI, and MN casualty claim handling experience.

Responsibilities

Investigating automobile accidents involving single or multiple vehicles, resulting in property damage and/or bodily injury with attorney/litigation involved.
Assessing coverage, liability, and damages.
Providing exceptional customer service.
Communicating with customers and attorneys through voice calls, email, and text messages.
Engaging in negotiation processes to reach fair injury settlements with all parties involved.
Performing detailed reviews of damage and interpreting policies to determine coverage.
Evaluating and negotiating claims settlements with customers, vendors, third-party carriers, and claimants.
Utilizing multiple tools, including estimate tools, job aids, and additional settlement platforms.
Executing policies along policy agreements to protect the company financially.
Maintaining a clear record of work in a claims system, ensuring timely and accurate documentation.
