About The Position

Weiser Memorial Hospital is seeking a qualified and experienced Ultrasound Technician to join their Radiology team on a PRN (as-needed) basis. The ideal candidate will be passionate about patient care and possess the skills and expertise necessary for this important role. The schedule is PRN (as needed) and offers a competitive salary based on experience. The hospital's mission is to 'Save Lives, Improve Health and Build Community'.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology.
  • Successful completion of an approved one (1) year program in ultrasound technology.
  • Registered with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or the American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • At least one (1) year of ultrasound experience.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Current compliance with Continuing Medical Education (CME) requirements for your specialty(ies) as appropriate.

Nice To Haves

  • A Bachelor of Science degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography is preferred.

  • Maintain confidentiality of all personnel and patient information including electronic and print.
