About The Position

ImageCare Radiology is seeking an experienced Full-Time Ultrasound Technologist for their West Orange location. This role is responsible for providing patients with the best care and experience while working with staff to perform quality ultrasound scans and biopsies. The technologist will collaborate with radiologists to gather medical images, ensuring an efficient and patient-focused experience during procedures. The ideal candidate should be professional, reliable, compassionate, and experienced in producing quality images for proper treatment and diagnosis. All new hires are required to attend first-day orientation at the Mount Olive office.

Requirements

At least one year of working experience at a hospital or working independently is preferred.
Basic vascular knowledge (venous doppler and carotids) and breast ultrasound experience is a plus.
Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer License (Required)
BLS Certification (Required)
Must be vaccinated with the yearly flu shot and MMR.

Responsibilities

Perform quality ultrasound scans and biopsies.
Work closely with radiologists to gather medical images.
Ensure an efficient and patient-focused experience during procedures.
Perform all Ultrasound exams including General Ultrasound and Ob/Gyn, Vascular, and Breast Ultrasound.
