Full-Time Ultrasound Technologist
About The Position
ImageCare Radiology is seeking an experienced full-time Ultrasound Technologist for their Middletown location. New hires are required to attend first-day orientation at their Mount Olive office before reporting to their assigned work location or training site. The schedule involves three 10-hour days, Monday-Friday (7:30 am - 6:00 pm), and a 6-hour shift on Saturdays (7:30 am - 2:00 pm). This role is responsible for providing patients with the best care and experience, performing quality ultrasound scans and biopsies, and working closely with radiologists to gather medical images. The ideal candidate is professional, reliable, compassionate, and experienced in producing quality images for proper treatment and diagnosis.
Requirements
- At least one year of working experience at a hospital or working independently is preferred.
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer License (Required)
- BLS Certification (Required)
- Must be vaccinated with the yearly flu shot and MMR.
- Ability to reliably commute or plan to relocate to Middletown, NJ before starting work.
Nice To Haves
- Basic vascular knowledge (venous doppler and carotids)
- Breast ultrasound experience
Responsibilities
- Provide patients with the best care and experience.
- Perform quality ultrasound scans and biopsies.
- Work closely with radiologists to gather medical images.
- Ensure an efficient and patient-focused experience during procedures.
- Perform ALL Ultrasound exams including General Ultrasound and Ob/Gyn, Vascular, and Breast Ultrasound.
