About The Position
This is a full-time day-shift position in the Women's Center. The sonographer works collaboratively to deliver excellent patient care in a clinic or practice environment, using imaging equipment and sound waves to form images of the body. The schedule is Saturday and Sunday, 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m., plus one day per week, 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m. The role includes a mandatory on-call rotation and holidays, with occasional weekend coverage if needed. Breast ARDMS certification is required for work in the Women's Center.
Requirements
- ARDMS certification is required.
- BLS certification is required.
- Graduate of an approved ultrasound school.
- Ability to produce diagnostically acceptable examinations.
- Breast ARDMS certification is required for work in the Women's Center.
Responsibilities
- Set up rooms and prepare patients for diagnostic imaging procedures.
- Acquire and analyze sonographic images.
- Perform office tests and administrative duties.
