About The Position

Pride Health is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist for a 3+ month contract assignment at a medical facility in Redlands, CA. This role offers the possibility of conversion or extension and is an excellent opportunity to work with a leading healthcare organization. The position involves performing diagnostic ultrasound examinations, preparing patients for procedures, maintaining patient records, and ensuring the proper functioning of ultrasound equipment. The technologist may also float to neighboring sites as needed.

Requirements

• Current Ultrasound/Sonography License/Certification.
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification.
• Experience performing diagnostic ultrasound procedures.
• Experience in an outpatient ultrasound setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled diagnostic ultrasound examinations accurately and efficiently.
• Conduct STAT and urgent ultrasound studies as needed.
• Prepare patients for procedures and explain examination processes.
• Ensure patient comfort, safety, and satisfaction throughout the visit.
• Review and maintain patient records and imaging documentation.
• Assist with patient scheduling and provide pre-appointment instructions.
• Coordinate with physicians and clinical staff regarding imaging results and patient care needs.
• Maintain ultrasound equipment and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Support clinic operations and provide assistance as needed.
