About The Position
The Ultrasound Technologist performs high-quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations to assist physicians in evaluating and treating urologic conditions. The role supports accurate imaging, patient safety, and exceptional patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment. This is a part-time, non-exempt position at the Dupont Square location in Louisville, Kentucky, scheduled Wednesday through Friday in office. The position reports to the Imaging Manager.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
- ARDMS or ARRT certification, or eligibility for registry.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in urology or vascular ultrasound is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic urologic ultrasound examinations in accordance with physician orders.
- Ensure proper operation, calibration, and maintenance of equipment.
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.
- Follow HIPAA, safety, and infection control standards.
- Provide professional, compassionate interaction with patients.
