About The Position

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures using high-frequency sound waves. The role involves patient care, image acquisition, and assisting physicians in diagnostic and interventional procedures while ensuring high-quality imaging and compliance with clinical standards.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound Technology program
• ARDMS Certification (Required)
• Registered in Abdomen and OB/GYN
• BLS Certification (Required)
• Strong communication and patient care skills
• All certifications must be active and current

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients and equipment for ultrasound procedures
• Perform diagnostic ultrasound imaging and evaluate image quality
• Assist physicians during specialized procedures (e.g., biopsies)
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and proper positioning
• Manage equipment, supplies, and workflow efficiency
• Follow infection control, safety, and hospital protocols
