Ultrasound Technologist - Per Diem
About The Position
University Radiology is hiring a per diem Ultrasound Vascular Technologist for its imaging office in Lyndhurst, New Jersey. The role performs diagnostic ultrasound exams, including abdominal, OB/GYN, and breast studies; captures high-quality images and clear technical notes for radiologists; and provides patients with a warm, professional experience. The position covers every other Saturday and paid time off (PTO). The technologist may work in or near areas containing specialized imaging equipment and must follow all department and facility safety protocols. Ultrasound Vascular Technologists are required to hold RVT certification and certification in Abdomen, Breast, and OB/GYN. The posting states that candidates must be certified in RVT and at least one of these additional areas to qualify. University Radiology reimburses educational materials and exam costs for additional certifications and provides a bonus once obtained.
Requirements
- ARDMS registration in Abdomen, Breast, and OB/GYN.
- ARDMS or ARRT registration in Vascular Sonography.
- At least 2 years of work experience.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- RVT certification and certification in at least one of Abdomen, Breast, or OB/GYN to qualify.
