About The Position

Ultrasound Tech / Sonographer –Fairfax Radiology Center’s Float Pool This is a PRN position, dayshift, with start times that vary from 6:00 AM – 8:30 AM for an 8-hour shift. No weekends, major holidays, evenings, or call. Free parking at all locations. Who you are: As a Sonographer/Ultrasound Tech in the Float Pool at Fairfax Radiology Centers (FRC), you are comfortable with knowing that each day will be a little bit different as you float to our various Imaging Centers within Fairfax County. You are passionate about the patient experience and do your best every day to help the teams you work with to provide the best care. What you’ll do: Perform general Ultrasound, including, but not limited to: OB: 1 st – 3 rd trimesters GYN Abdominal Small parts Embracing a patient-centered approach, you’ll deliver Ultrasound services with professionalism and exceptional customer care. Requirements

  • We welcome new graduates who are enthusiastic and excited about starting career here at Fairfax Radiology Centers
  • RDMS certification upon hire
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Nice To Haves

  • 1+ years’ experience in general sonography/ultrasound is preferred
